Productivity Analysis PC-300 and PC-400 in Earthworks at a Gold Mining Project in Indonesia

Material movement is a significant and costly aspect of gold or general mining projects. This involves the utilization expensive heavy equipment, necessitating careful management to ensure optimal efficiency. Therefore, this study aimed analyze productivity excavators PC-300 PC-400 as well compare theoretical calculation results with actual conditions. The basis was formed by real field data, collected earthwork supervisors at mine in Indonesia. data encompassed daily equipment usage, including duration, quantity material moved, types involved relocation process. calculations resulted 121.45 m3 hour-1 99.56 for PC-300. Meanwhile, based on conditions an average 114.4 66.3 during one-year project period. difference between relatively small large -7.05 -33.26 hour-1, 0.94 0.64 match factors, respectively. because supported work projects, such opening area access, maintaining work, serving supporting equipment. Furthermore, it occurred total production against target production, which less than -31,921 (-2.5%) out 1,277,325 total. deficit attributed construction failure that caused be temporarily relocated reparation. Based simulation, achieved condition month 13 (additional 1-month duration) 1,283,856 m3, obtained more +6,531 (+0.51%).
